Easter Egg Hunt/ Sheltering Arms
Members set up an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. We had a memebr dress up in a Bunny costume and they all got to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. We also made bunny shaped cakes and went around and visited the classrooms to give the cake and play with them.

Project Open Hand
We visited POH, which is an organization that prepares meals for homebound AIDS patients. We cooked and packed the meals and offered assistance in the administrative office.

Benefit Car Wash
We had a car wash in which we charged a flat rate per car. When the money was collected at the end of the project, 25% of the profits went to a non-profit agency. This past year the percentage went to the American Red Cross.

Hands On Atlanta Day
Members gathered in the East Lake Community along with Trees Atlanta to plant trees and plants. The location looked 100% better when finished.
Members gathered at Cross Keys High School and prepared for a long day in restoring a courtyard that was damaged months before in bad weather. Working with a volunteer landscaper, we helped in the beginning stages of making a Celtic bird garden. We hauled 100 of pounds of wood chips and formed the mulch into circular pathways. We then planted young trees, which one is know as "Civi", and cemented benches into the ground.

Benefit Halloween Mixer
Members gathered in a social setting at an officer's house in Halloween costumes. All who attended paid money that was donated to Campus Civitan of GSU and also brought can food items that were donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Genesis Shelter
We went and watched, read, and played with the children who reside at this agency. Genesis shelter provides supervision to homeless children while their mothers are in career development classes. Usually the mothers have recently recovered from illegal substance abuse.

Into the Streets Program
Into the Streets Program is hosted by the GSU Office of Community Service and Learning, which sponsor several community service projects in the Atlanta area. We went to the Atlanta Community Food Bank and helped sort and classify donated can food items.

Hosea Feed the Hungry
This agency provides the city's largest Thanksgiving dinners for the homeless adults in the Atlanta area. We helped advertise the need for volunteers and donations for the success of the event.

December 2000/2001
Operation Peace
We went to the Bedford Pines area to clean the homes of 2 disabled elderly men.

Holiday Party
