Una Familia Cubana/A Cuban Family, 2008, Havana, Cuba by Roberto Arévalo
In Spanish with English subtitles, (27:30)

This intimate and poetic documentary produced by Atlanta based
director and media educator Roberto Arévalo is a portrait of an
Afro-Cuban family living in a modest neighborhood in Havana. Their
sense of humor, and connection with extended family members and
neighbors are weaved together to present a painting of Cuba using the
most powerful representation of a culture: the family.

A Question & Answer meeting with director Arévalo will follow the screening.
