Description of Event
Juan Poblete is associate professor of Latin American literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is the author of Literatura chilena del siglo XIX: entre públicos lectores y figuras autoriales (Santiago: Cuarto Propio, 2003) and the editor of Critical Latin American and Latino Studies (University of Minessota Press, 2003.) He is currently at work on a project on Radio Tierra, the Chilean non-profit station, and the work of "crónica" writer Pedro Lemebel.
