Session Title
Cultural Complexities & Invisible Identities: Life in Constant Negotiation

Session Description
This invited dialogue will explore cultural complexity thorough the lens of multiple identities including race, ethnicity, sexual and gender identity, age, ability, nationality, religion, socioeconomic status and social role identities.  The panel will particularly focus on the challenges faced by individuals (including clients and clinicians) negotiating multiple identities, particularly those invisible aspects of identity that are so often ignored.

Participants involved in the program will:

  1. Identify often invisible aspects of multiple identities,
  2. Consider how invisible identities interact with more visible identities.
  3. Engage in meaningful dialogue with program presenters.
