  Self Help Pages

The following pages are provided for the students of

Georgia State University

We at The Counseling Center realize that many of our students may want to learn more about certain mental health topics or simply about overall well-being, and so we are making these LifeShops Self-Help pages available to you.

For some of you, perhaps, there's been a struggle recently and you're considering coming in to talk to somebody.  Perhaps, you're already working with a counselor and you want to know more about an issue you've been struggling with.  For others of you, there may be somebody you know that is struggling, and you simply want to know more about a certain area of mental health or interpersonal well-being.  And for even others of you, there is simply an interest in the topics presented here and you may not be considering counseling for yourself or someone you know at this time.

Regardless of your reasons, we hope you find these LifeShops Self-Help pages helpful as you move through the exciting, and sometimes demanding...
