I am just a human being.  Don’t put me in any box with labels for every section.  I don’t want to join any Latino groups or be counted as Hispanic for the diversity goals of this school or that career.  I am a person.  I have my very own personality, life experiences, and aspirations.  I would love it if, someday, I could find a box of Crayola crayons that had all the labels taken off and there was only the many colors…  none of the crayons with prescribed meaning, each of them with unique value just for being in the box to begin with.
