Dues Update:
The 2006-2007 membership dues are still $25. Dues will remain at this price until our club meeting on Wed. October 18th. After this date dues will increase to $49. ALL dues must be paid by Wed. Oct. 25th. Checks are accepted, payable to: Circle K Club of Georgia State . Please contact our club treasurer Tiffany Simmons, via e-mail at tisimmos4@student.gsu.edu, to set up a time to turn in dues outside of our meetings.

Upcoming Activities: (October 2006)

AIDS WALK - Sat. October 14, 2006 (Volunteer)

Sun. October 15, 2006 (Walk with Circle K)

•  Time: 9am-12pm (Walk starts at 10 am)

•  Location: Piedmont Park

 Trick-o-Treat Fest - Fri. October 27, 2006

•  3:30pm-6:00pm

•  In collaboration with Panther Breakaway

•  We need members to decorate, donate candy and wear costumes to escort the kids to trick o' treat on campus.

 Hillside Hospital Pumpkin Patch : Sun. October 22, 2006

•  Hillside Hospital (Playground Project Location)

•  3:00pm-6:00 pm

Leadership Conclave : Sat. October 28, 2006

•  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Student Center .

•  Workshops will focus on of leadership development, team building and community building.

•  All Georgia State University students can attend for a fee of only $10.

•  Lunch and conference materials will be provided.

On-going Service Projects: (2006-2007)

Story/ Play Time at Sheltering Arms: Friday, Oct. 6th-4:00-6:30pm

Sheltering Arms is located at 385 Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Our club generally participates in Story/Play every Friday, from 4:00pm-6:30 pm.

Background checks are REQUIRED to volunteer at Sheltering Arms! They can be completed for FREE in the Office of Community Service, Rm. 330 Student Center .

You will receive an e-mail from me when you are cleared to pick yours up from the 3rd Floor of One Park Place (Human Resources.) A copy of your background must be on file at Sheltering Arms to volunteer on a regular basis.
