EXC 7150: Academic Methods of Instruction for Students with Learning and Behavior Disabilities

Course Description

This course focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of individualized programs based on the educationally relevant characteristics of students with learning and behavior disabilities. Research-based strategies and materials for instruction and technology use in the areas of reading, math, and written language will be described and demonstrated.

Course Schedule

EXC 7150 is taught for Master's of Education students in the Behavior and Learning Disabilities program during Fall and Spring semesters. During Summer term, the course is taught for students seeking add-on certification in Interrelated Special Education (counts as Learning Disabilities Methods course).
