The Writing Center collects
data that may be useful to scholars interested in writing
and tutoring related research. Students provide the center
with information about their classes and projects, and tutors
report on their experiences with students. This information
is then entered into a database for easy access.

The database can answer questions for researchers:
- How many students visit
the center?
- How many students return to the center?
- Why do students come to the center?
- What do ESL students tend to wok on?
- What departments send students?
