The Georgia State Center For Writing & Research Website provides general information about the Center and offers many online services. We created the site to assist both the community and students unable to come to the Center during open hours. The site also allows patrons to connect to numerous online writing resources.

Opportunities:
Volunteering:
The Writing Center welcomes faculty, graduate students, and advanced undergraduates to volunteer in the Center. We can always use extra tutors to help with the large student population that comes to the Center for assistance.

Writing Across the Curriculum:
The WAC Program works in conjunction with the Wrting Center to promote writing in all academic disciplines. WAC provides opportunities for faculty and graduate students to develop writing intensive courses and also helps fund many of our tutors.

Referral Network:
The Center offers a referral network connecting writing consultants with students and businesses. Anyone who would like to be a consultant should contact the Center. We will then provide this list of referrals to interested parties. The referrals are not necessarily recommended by the Center. We fascilitate but do not supervise this interaction. The consultant and client negotiate jobs, times, and fees.
