Services:
Tutoring:
The Center for Writing and Research provides undergraduate students with assistance in all subject areas where writing is involved. Students may come to the Center for help on written projects at many levels including brainstorming, logic, organization, development, revision, and tips on proofreading and editing.

Online Help:
The Center for Writing and Research offers outreach to the Atlanta community through on-line response to questions regarding written communication. Individuals and businesses in the Atlanta area may email the Center at writing@gsu.edu with questions about writing issues. The Center's tutors will respond within 24 hours. (This on-line service replaces the former "Grammar Hotline" sponsored by the Writing Center.)

Regents' Test:
Undergraduates can come to the Center with questions about the Regents' Writing Test. Students can get scores on previous tests, see models of passing essays, and practice taking the test.

Workshops:
The Center for Writing and Research plans on offering a series of workshops on a number of writing related topics. These workshops will be for students and teachers.

The Georgia State Center For Writing & Research Website provides general information about the Center and offers many online services. We created the site to assist both the community and students unable to come to the Center during open hours. The site also allows patrons to connect to numerous online writing resources.
