The Atlanta Review of Journalism History is an annual, peer-reviewed journal inviting research papers on any facet of U.S. and International journalism history. The Review views journalism history broadly and will consider all forms of mass communication that have had impact on any area of journalism’s past. ARJH is now also indexed on EbscoHost, so all issues will soon be searchable using this database.

Submissions

The Review is currently accepting submissions for its 9th volume. The deadline for essay submission is October 1, 2010.

The Review accepts only original material for possible publication and any paper submitted to the journal for review should not have been submitted to or accepted by another publication. In addition, the paper must have been presented at a scholarly conference in order to be accepted for possible publication.

Authors may submit only one research paper. The ARJH follows the Chicago Manual of Style. Maximum length for most manuscripts is 25 pages of completed research, not including notes and tables. Submit three identical hard copies of the manuscripts, each numbered, labeled and double-spaced, along with an MS Word version of the paper on a disk.
