The formal complaints from two students alleged that members of the organization required
pledges to participate in such actions or situations including, but not limited to, the following: ridicule and insults, kneeling on a pillow for a period of time while being yelled at, completing wall sits, sit ups and jogging, conducting activities that do no allow adequate time for study or sleep (e.g. requiring pledges to call on the hour), and performing acts of personal servitude for members (requiring pledges to move one of the active members out of her apartment.)
Alleged Violations of Georgia State University's Student Code of Conduct Section III General Conduct Policies and Procedures, Subsection A. Prohibited General Conduct :
Number 5. Verbally threatening, physically abusing, or threatening physical abuse, intimidation, coercion and/or conduct which threatens or endangers the health or safety of self, other students, other members of the University community or campus visitors.
Number 15 . Engaging in, supporting, promoting or sponsoring hazing.

The Student Judicial Board held a disciplinary hearing on Friday, April 7, 2006,
Based upon the information and evidence presented at the judicial hearing, the Student Judicial Board found Sigma Sigma Rho not responsible for violation of either Section III(a)5 or Section III(a)15 of Georgia State University Student Code of Conduct. The Dean of Students upheld the finding of the Student Judicial Board.
