The Division of Students Affairs provides a network of support
and encouragement for students through counseling, advocacy, advisement,
recreation, health, leadership training, and opportunities for personal
growth. Further, the Division seeks to provide an enriching environment
that allows for and encourages cross-cultural interaction, an appreciation
of diversity, and ethical decision making. Areas within student
services include: Student/University Center, Georgia Career Information
Center, Student Health Clinic, Student Health Promotion, Recreational Services, University Career
Services, African American Student Services and Programs, Disability
Services, New Student Programs and Parent Relations, Student Life & Leadership, Dean
of Students, Student Support Services, Educational Opportunity,
Civic Engagement, University Housing, and Counseling and Testing Center. The Division employs over 200 faculty,
staff and students. |
