ABOUT ATLANTA:

The 6th Conference On Intercultural Rhetoric and Discourse is being hosted by Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.  Atlanta is accessed by Interstates 20, 75, and 85, and it is primarily serviced by Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (airport code ATL).  The airport, Georgia State’s downtown campus, and other parts of Atlanta metro area are all accessed by MARTA.  You will not need to rent a vehicle when you come to Atlanta, but there are many such services at the airport if you choose.  Here is a link for Atlanta’s Convention & Visitors Bureau: http://www.atlanta.net/.  It can help you with some local information, but you can also send an email to intrhetdisc@gmail.com, and we can help you in your search.

The Loudermilk Center will host the conference sessions as well as breakfast and lunch for both days.  It is located adjacent to Georgia State’s campus at 40 Courtland Street, Atlanta, GA 30303.  The center is within walking distance of many hotels.
