Meredith has been teaching in the Intensive English Program at Georgia State since 2004 and also has taught ESL at Georgia Perimeter College in Clarkston, Georgia. In addition to teaching, she has been involved in IEP curriculum development as a member of the Curriculum Committee and has organized and led a variety of service and cultural activities for IEP students as Student Activities Coordinator. Meredith received her M.A. in Applied Linguistics at GSU in 2005. Her research interests are focused on the connection between linguistic theory and practical classroom use, and she has presented papers on topics related to corpus linguistics, student motivation, and developing effective assessment of second language writing and oral communication.
