Amanda Starrick

Amanda Starrick received an M.T.E.S.L. degree from Arizona State University in 2002. Among other positions as a graduate student, she helped launch two university-sponsored outreach ESL programs for the Salvation Army. Prior to coming to Georgia State University in 2004, she taught ESL at Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Arizona. In addition to being an instructor with the Intensive English Program, Amanda has also been in the roles of Student Activities Coordinator and Tutoring Services Coordinator. Her other professional interests include materials development, academic writing, and information literacy.
