What services does the program provide?

A library consisting of college catalogs, brochures and application from institutions throughout the nation for information on post secondary education and student financial assistance.

Academic, financial, career, or interpersonal counseling.

Career exploration, achievement assessment, and aptitude evaluation.

Early awareness activities for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.

Workshops for the families of participants.

Referrals to other supportive services programs (ie.d.Upward Bound, mentoring programs, tutorial services, and/or homework hotlines).

High School and College adjustment seminars.

Fee Waivers and assistance in preparing for college entrance exams.

Assistance in completing college admissions and financial aid applications.

Field Trips for exposure to college campuses and for career investigations at local industries/businesses.
