Assessment and research can assist faculty and departments in measuring student knowledge and skills or the effectiveness of a course. Assessment and research results are invaluable for planning a curriculum, developing support programs, and designing or redesigning courses.

UETS can provide assistance in conducting assessment and research. This support may in the form of helping faculty and departments in writing measurable learning outcomes, or in selecting alternative assessments to measure student outcomes.

UETS’ team of instructional technologists can also assist in writing research grants or conducting research on topics related to online course delivery. We conduct periodic surveys of students to gather information on student technology use. Link to the results by clicking on Survey Results.
