The University System of Georgia manages a centralized course management
system for USG institutions. GeorgiaView is powered by the Blackboard
Learning System - Vista Enterprise and hosts a variety of programs
and initiatives. Some of these include the eCore™ courses, WebMBA
courses, Governor’s Reading Consortium, the USG’s European
Union Program, the USG Online Teaching and Learning courses offered to
USG faulty, and the Center for Education In Science Mathematics and Computing
(CEISMC).
As a critical part of this project, the Board of Regents has contracted
with an outside vendor for 24/7 Support
Desk services. These services are available to both Georgia State
faculty and students as well as to an additional 120,000 faculty and students
from USG institutions around the state.
