Classroom Technology | Technology & Computer Lab Support

Some features of the P&SI supported areas of the Alpharetta Center are:

  • Newly installed wireless network now available. Please visit GSU Wireless documentation website for access procedures.
  • 18 Classrooms --- 6 on the 1st floor, 12 on the 2nd floor each equipped with a computer workstation, document camera, and built-in VCR. All images are projected from ceiling mounted projector. A touch screen panel allows instructors to switch from projection mediums (computer, VCR, document camera).
  • Electronic Library with 24 computers, videotape viewing, and four group project study areas.
  • A 40-seat, open access computer lab for students. Lab technician on-site, as well as classroom support personnel to assist faculty with software installation or troubleshooting problems.
  • A 39 seat IT lab
  • 4 study nooks on the second floor at each corner with data ports
