UATS provides many opportunities for personal development through training and workshops. To meet the needs of faculty and staff we provide training in your office or ours. Classroom training may be customized for departments to meet the specific needs of a group. Campus faculty may request training for their students in the classroom on topics such as student email, the Internet and uLearn. Please note that certain restrictions apply to our training and fees may be assessed.

Training Troopers: The Training Troopers program provides one-on-one training to Georgia State faculty and staff in their offices or ours. There is no charge for uLearn training but a fee is assessed for other topics.

Workshops: Workshops on uLearn and topics related to online teaching are available to faculty and staff at no charge.

Special Request: Standup training is available by Special Request in topics such as Windows File Management, GroupWise, the Internet and uLearn for groups of five or more. uLearn training is free, but a fee is assessed for all other topics.

Teach My Class: (This service is currently unavailable.) Faculty may request a trainer come to their class and teach their students how to use uLearn, student email or the Internet. There is no charge for this service but some restrictions apply.
