Introduction to uLearn

This hands-on workshop will cover navigation in uLearn , roles, file management, course building and student management. Registration is required..

To register: Email ulearn@gsu.edu with the following information: your name, phone number, date of preferred training session, and courses you will be teaching using uLearn.

WELCOME TO YOUR SECOND LIFE - AN INTRODUCTION

Registration is required! Dates and times are subject to change. Registered individuals will be notified if there is a change in the schedule.

This will be an introduction to Second Life and an overview of basic skills to get you started. Workshops will be in Classroom South, Room 401. Registration for the workshop is mandatory. All participants must have created an avatar. If you are stuck on Orientation Island, that*s OK. We'll get you off Orientation and to the IS&T SL classroom.

Topics we will cover include:

• Avatar Customization - Changing your appearance to look more like you or the inner you.
• Dressing the Part - Changing clothes
• Basic Skills - How to walk and fly and land with grace
• Let*s Explore - Finding places on the map and teleporting
