DOCTORAL PROGRAM for ADVANCED STUDIES in GEOCHEMISTRY

The Department of Geology offers a doctoral program administered in conjunction with the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Biology which is designed to endow its graduates with the ability to approach fundamental scientific questions from geological, chemical, and biological perspectives. The program awards a Ph.D. in Geochemistry.

For entering students with MS degrees, a minor area of specialization should also be chosen. Upon entering the program, students should meet with the Graduate Director in order to design a plan of coursework specific to their discipline.
