Support of the University Excellence Fund strengthens the institution in its entirety because it supplements support to all areas of the University. It is a funding source used by Georgia State to help support top University priorities, special projects, and immediate and critical academic needs that are not always met by restricted funds. These flexible and dynamic dollars are necessary for Georgia State to realize its mission of becoming a leading urban research university.
