Community Commitment, Service and Success 3 Ways to Give:
Support Georgia State University

Georgia State Library

Funding Priorities

Library General Endowment

This endowment allows the library to expand its collection of books, materials, and databases for student and faculty research and learning.

Transforming the Library Fund (02C97)

The Library Transformation is a $20 million comprehensive renovation of library buildings North and South to accommodate the emerging needs of Georgia State's diverse, growing student body. Nearly every square inch of the library's interior will undergo renovation. Improvements emphasize:

  • centralized service
  • technology
  • collaborative learning and instruction
  • sense of community
  • coherent organization
  • anticipated growth

When complete, patrons will enjoy access to a modern, well-equipped library facility at the forefront of research and learning.

Library Excellence Fund (02D49)

Achieving excellence as a provider of information to the Georgia State community requires resources beyond what is provided for through state funding. The Library Excellence Fund helps fill that gap, providing for high-quality library programs, necessary materials and equipment, and other pressing needs that state funds alone cannot address.
