Support for College-Wide Initiatives

Support for the GSU Fund for Arts and Sciences provides the College with much needed resources to enhance the cultural life of the campus. This fund supports the annual College of Arts and Sciences Lecture Series as well as other visiting scholars in many disciplines who come to Georgia State to work with our faculty, students, and larger community. In addition, the fund provides financial support for the most pressing needs of the College.

Support for the Creative Arts

The College of Arts and Sciences prides itself on the strength of its creative arts programs including the School of Art and Design, the School of Music and the Creative Writing Program in the Department of English. Some of the many funding priorities in the creative arts include the Recital Hall restoration project, the Center for Educational Partnerships in Music, and support for Visiting Artists as well as the Art Galleries and our literary journal, Five Points.
