For faculty, staff, and administrators, the Corporate and Foundation Relations Department (CFR) provides assistance in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major grants and gifts. For corporations and foundations, CFR facilitates mutually beneficial collaborations, partnerships, and sponsorships in areas such as philanthropy, sponsored research, student recruitment, technology transfer, and continuing education.

A key component of the work of CFR is the Proposal Approval Process. All grant requests made to corporations and foundations of $10,000 or above which are not research related must be approved centrally. This allows Georgia State to coordinate approaches, maximize awards and build beneficial relationships with our corporate and foundations supporters.
