Every year, graduating students are given a chance to "start a tradition" of giving back to Georgia State University.  When a graduating student gives back prior to graduation, they receive a blue tassel to wear proudly at commencement ceremonies.

Over the past few years, this tradition has grown at Georgia State University.  In 2007, graduating students committed more than $10,000 back to the University.
