While the provisions of this bulletin will ordinarily be applied as stated, Georgia State University reserves the right to change any provision listed in this bulletin, including but not limited to academic requirements for graduation, without actual notice to individual students. Information on changes will be available in the Office of the Registrar for changes made by the university and in the Office of the Dean when changes are made by the college. It is especially important that each student note that it is the student's individual responsibility to keep apprised of current graduation requirements for his or her particular degree program.

For all matters not dealt with in this bulletin, the student is referred to the GSU General Catalog to which this bulletin is a supplement.

Falsification of Admissions Materials

Any material falsification of or omission from any application, form, document, or other submission presented by the applicant for purposes of obtaining admission to a graduate program at Georgia State University will be grounds for rejection of the application. The applicant will be excluded from any further consideration for admission at Georgia State University, unless the applicant can prove the falsification or omission was unintentional. Material falsification or omission discovered after admission will be grounds for disenrollment.

A material falsification or omission is anything which would affect the admission decision or would be a clear misstatement of fact.
