Globalization and World Cities Research Network
Centered in the Geography Department at Loughborough University, the Globalization and World Cities (GaWC) Study Group and Network has been formed to aid in the study of the relations between cities, rather than the study of internal structures of individual cities and comparative analyses of the same. The gateway links to resources for researchers, teachers, and practitioners, each with multiple links to other sites.
This site contains maps, literature, documents, books and other relevant material concerning the past, present and future of historic cities and facilitate the location of similar content on the web. Most locations are in Europe.
