A big part of the law school applications is creating an account with the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). LSAC administered the LSAT and handles your credentials file that will be sent to the law schools to which you apply.
It is strongly recommended that pre-law students consider joining societies that will help expose them to service work and to navigating law school.
Phi Alpha Theta. Phi Alpha Theta is the international history honors’ society, with chapters in over 650 colleges and universities. Georgia State University’s Phi Alpha Theta students present papers at national conferences, win scholarships and grants offered through the society, and have the opportunity to submit essays for publication in Phi Alpha Theta’s quarterly journal, The Historian.
There are a variety of other clubs and activities available to history majors. For more information, contact H. Robert Baker.
