The Last Word

"The Honors Program is a great experience even for business students. Not only does the Honors Program offer Honors sections of many business courses, but it also gives you the opportunity to take exciting classes unrelated to business. It gives you a more sturdy, broader knowledge base and puts you a step ahead of other business students."

-Ryan Hembree, Economics

"I would describe my experience with the Honors Program at Georgia State as an academic awakening. The Honors Program faculty facilitate learning in a supportive forum of frank, open discussion and critical analysis--a forum in which students are challenged to develop and improve their abilities to analyze and reason."

-Pamela Mattsson, Psychology

"At interview after interview, one of the first questions asked of me was 'Why did you go to Georgia State University?' Why did I choose Georgia State? And once there, why did I stay?...I stayed because of the Honors Program and the professors I found through the courses they offer...I have one of the most coveted medical fellowships in the country now because of my participation in the program."

-Chadd Davidson, M.D./Ph.D. program at the University of Pennsylvania
