Paygrade- 16, Anticipated Hiring Range: $38,417-$53,245
Coordinates multiple projects and manages all aspects of facility construction/renovation projects. Work includes managing facility programming, design, estimating and construction management efforts. Selects Architectural/Engineering firms to provide design services for GSU construction projects. Provides in-house design services of a substantial magnitude to require a professional seal. Manages and coordinates the work of Architectural Designers, Level I Architects and support staff as assigned.
Must have: Bachelor of Science in Architecture and four years of experience in architecture. Must be a registered Architect in the State of Georgia.
Preferences: Proficient in AutoCad, work processing and spreadsheets. Should be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously; Should have the ability to design alterations to buildings and to prepare accurate documents. Familiarity with a project scheduling software package such as Microsoft Project or Suretrack (Primevera) also a plus.
