Association for Information Systems, (Job# 5152) Paygrade- 16, Anticipated Hiring Range: $38,417 to $54,842 Manages membership and the financial affairs of AIS. Also manages journal subscriptions and serves as liaison to journal publishers. Performs statistical research; prepares reports and assists in the preparation of the annual budget. Monitors funding sources and disbursements. Also manages conference registration procedures and assists in planning meetings and special events. Supervises, hires and trains the office clerical, financial and membership staff. Maintains personnel records for staff and coordinates timesheets and paycheck disbursement. Monitors property control and equipment maintenance. Serves as liaison to other administrative and executive units of the university and association. Must have: Bachelor’s degree and two years supervisory/management experience; or a combination of training and experience. Preferences: MBA with 5+ years of business experience in association management, advanced MSOfficePro skills – especially adept with Access and Excel, proficiency with QuickBooksPro software. Ability to maintain and manage financial accounts, websites, schedule meetings and coordinate conference logistics/expenses. Effective communication, time management and organizational skills needed. Knowledge of business and financial management practices a must. Ability to supervise and direct the work of others.
