Term Professional- Classification and Compensation Analyst HR/Classification and Compensation Office (Job# 5235) Anticipated Hiring Range: $40,000 - $45,000 Benefits eligible; Expected Duration: 2 years Analyzes and classifies new and existing positions. Completes salary surveys and/or collects salary data for projects or special assignments. Assists with or functions as a lead for process improvement initiatives and ad hoc classification and compensation projects. Develops and implements processes to improve customer service and to foster a better understanding of the University’s compensation programs. Must have: Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years classification & compensation experience; or a combination of training and experience. Must have strong communication skills (both oral and written). Prefer 3+ years of class/comp experience; public sector compensation experience; project management experience and experience in developing and conducting presentations. Preferences: Must have strong communication skills (both oral and written). Prefer project management experience and prior work with process improvement initiatives, classification and compensation projects, and/or developing and implementing customer service initiatives.
