Paygrade: 8 Anticipated Hiring Range- $21,656-$28,997
The Research Technician I will perform entry-level work involved in conducting scientific research. The person in this position will be critical for progress on a new federally-funded research program.
Must have: Bachelor's degree and one year research experience; or a high school diploma or GED and five years research experience; or a combination of training and experience.
Preferences: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Psychology, Chemistry or Physics: Previous experience working with small rodents (handling, behavior measurements); some work with hazardous chemicals; experience with brain histology and small rodent surgery highly desirable.
