Coordinator, Student Center, (Job# 5272) Paygrade- 13, Anticipated Hiring Range: $30,981 - $40,000 Responsible for the effective implementation of services to a daily event schedule (that averages 24 reserved events per day) by providing direct management, coordination and supervision to the event set-up/preparation and event management functions as well as administering related facility management and operational responsibilities. The position provides comprehensive supervision to a Set-Up Supervisor, an Audio-Visual Technician II, and a staff of approximately 25 student Building Manager and Set-Tech employees. Prefer demonstrated success in the following areas: Managing, training, and supervising staff (professional and student); Prior experience in an event and/or service-driven environment; Prior operations and/or facility management experience; Experience with small project coordination and management; Demonstrable leadership effectiveness; Effective (oral and written) communication skills; and personal organization and time management skills. Must have: High School diploma or GED and two years of related experience. Preferences: Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of directly-comparable experience. Materials requested: Either
