Administrative Assistant, University Library/Administration, (Job# 5304)
Paygrade- 9, Anticipated Hiring Range: $23,268 - $25,600

Provide administrative support for the Library’s Human Resource function and general office support for the Library Administration. Assist the Library’s HR Coordinator, initiating paperwork for personnel actions, maintaining electronic data sources and departmental personnel files; primary reception for the Administration office, greeting visitor, faculty and staff and providing information as appropriate.
Must have: Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or GED and four years administrative experience; or a combination of training and experience.
Preferences: Two years of administration experience supplemented with two years of relevant coursework. Demonstrated knowledge of office policies and procedures. Ability to multi-task. Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. Effective oral and written communication skills, including good telephone etiquette. Ability to handle confidential information. Proficient with Word and Excel software. Exposure to Human Resources processes a plus.
