Custodian Foreman, Student Center, (Job# 5314)
Paygrade 11 - Anticipated Hiring Range: $26,849 - $32,500

Responsible for the effective administration of a three shift custodial program to a 250K s.f. multitask-activity Center that includes reservable event space, offices, and common area amenities like lounges, food courts, etc… This position has direct supervisory/management responsibilities for a Third Shift supervisor and a staff of 13 full time Custodians.

Must have: High school diploma or GED and three years experience in an institutional, industrial, or commercial setting, including two years supervisory or lead worker experience. Criminal background investigation. Valid GA Driver's license may be required for some positions.

Preferences: Prefer 5+ years experience in an institutional, industrial, or commercial setting and including supervisory or lead worker experience. Also prefer demonstrated success in the following areas: Managing, training, and supervising full-time custodian staff; Prior experience in an event and/or service-driven environment; Considerable knowledge of proper custodial practices, techniques, procedures and equipment; Prior operations and/or facility management experience; Experience with small project coordination and management; Demonstrable leadership effectiveness; Effective (oral and written) communication skills; and personal organization and time management skills.
