Services Specialist II, Student Advisement Center, (Job# 5321) Paygrade- 9, Minimum Hiring Rate: $11,634 (50% time) The Customer Services Specialist II supports the academic advising office by answering 3 incoming phone lines and managing appointment/walk-in traffic in the reception area. Will perform reception area duties, including greeting visitors and answering phones, managing traffic flow in office; and providing basic information and regulations, degrees and procedures to callers and visitors. Also responsible for maintaining, updating and restocking office forms and brochures. Must have: High school diploma or GED and two years customer service, administrative or office experience; or a combination of training and experience. Preferences: Previous receptionist experience, university experience, and experience answering a multi-line phone system. Should enjoy heavy contact with people, have excellent communication skills, be flexible, and have the ability to work with all types of people. Organizational skills are critical.
