Professor-School of Social Work
Georgia State University School of Social Work in Atlanta, GA invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the assistant level. Duties: Teach BSW and foundation year MSW courses with emphasis on HBSE and methods content; conduct research and seek external funding. Applicants able to teach from a multi-methods approach (e.g., traditional classroom, online, or combination) are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: Applicants must have a MSW; two years post masters practice experience preferred, and a doctorate in social work or closely related field. ABD applicants can apply but will need to have a defense date scheduled before the job starts in August 2008. Campus and School: With

situated in the heart of downtown Atlanta and is within easy access to
the State Capitol, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, the Jimmy Carter

the most diverse college campus in Georgia. Within the SSW, the BSW program
graduates about 80 students per year. The MSW program, with a sole concentration
on community partnerships, graduates 30-40 students per year. Both programs
