Assistantships
To apply for student assistantships at Georgia State University, you
must:
- Be enrolled as
a student at Georgia State University (fees paid).
- Be taking a minimum
of six hours of undergraduate classes or four hours of graduate classes
this semester to qualify for the student exemption on FICA-Medicare
and GDFC.
How to Apply for Student Assistant Openings:
1. To browse Student Assistantship Positions from an on campus computer you must visit University Career Services (UCS) located in University Center, Suite 270.
2. Click on Monster Trak for GSU Students/Alums icon located on any UCS Career Resource Center computer desktop
3. Click on "Jobs & Internships"
4. You may narrow your job search by the various categories listed by selecting the areas you wish and click on search, or you may just click on search to view all jobs. You can also select under Limit Job Search the type of student job you are interested in using these choices: On-Campus (Non-Work Study), On-Campus (Work-Study), Off-Campus (Work-Study), Paid Internships Only. Also, be sure to select "Georgia" under Job location.
5. A listing of jobs will appear. Click on the job title to view the specific information and application instructions for the positions in which you have an interest.

the qualifications, and if you can work the schedule, you are welcome
to apply for staff positions. Most are full-time, requiring availability
from 8:30 to 5:15 daily, but some are part-time. You must also be authorized
to work in the U.S.
