Touched by My Own Creativity

This event was a hands-on fabric collage workshop lead by local artisit Zelda Grant. Particiants got to experience an evening of creativity and fun through the construction of thier own fabric collage.

T.A.P.E. (Through a Panther's Eye)

This fall was the inaugural T.A.P.E., a multicultural fair held in the library plaza. Co-sponsored by Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, over tweny multicultural organizations were represented, including a live musical preformance.

Safe Zone

The office of Intercultural Relations, in coordination with the Counseling Center, offer Safe Zone programs throughout the year. The Safe Zone Program is a two hour session training participants to become GLBTQIQ allys. GLBTQIQ means gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and questioning. Transgender is an umbrella term for individuals who feel, for one reason or another, they do not fit into the gender dichotomy of masculine and feminine. Intersex refers to individuals who are not biologically constricted by the sociobiological catergories of male and female. For more information, see the Safe Zone webpage.
