Brain Bee
The Brain Bee for high school students kicks off the calendar year in early February. Then similar to a spelling bee, the round-robin phase requires each participant to answer a content question about the brain, behavior, psychopathology, or neuropathology. Participants are eliminated from competition when they miss their third question. Local winners are eligible to compete at the international level at the International Brain Bee in Baltimore , MD , during the International Brain Awareness Week in March. This program is coordinated by Dr. Laura Carruth and staff members of the Center for Behavioral Neuroscience.
