Research/Teaching
My research interests include numerical linear algebra (most recently utilizing least squares techniques in mathematical visualization and Gauss-Seidel methods in fluid simulations), connections between linear algebra and graph theory (specifically ranks and eigenvalue problems), and mathematics education (specifically the preparation of K-12 teachers and improving student performance in our core courses).
I teach courses from across the wide spectrum of our curriculum, from introductory core courses to linear algebra, numerical analysis, history of mathematics, and various courses in our teacher preparation programs.
