The seminar discusses diverse topics of abstract algebra with emphasis on commutative algebra. Faculty from neighboring areas and interested students are welcome to attend.

Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Neuroscience Seminar
The Seminar discusses recent developments in Appled Mathematics and Computational Neuroscience. Its main objective is to bring together GSU scientists and students working in this interdisciplinary field of research.
The Discrete Mathematics Seminar is co-organized by a few graph theorists and algebraists from Georgia State University and the University of West Georgia. A casual talk per week will be given to help the participants to share research information and to seek common research topics.
The seminar discusses diverse topics of statistics, either theoretical or applied. Students in statistics are encouraged to be speakers.
