MCL participates in Homecoming Parade!
During Homecoming 2006, the Department of Modern and Classical Languages had the opportunity to participate in the first annual GSU Golf Cart Parade. Our cart consisted of a giant papier-mache globe and many international flags that help to promote the different cultures and languages represented within the department. Aside from having an absolute blast, the department was able increase its visibility to the campus as well as to reach out to a large number of perspective students. During the parade we passed out departmental information to bystanders and informed them about a few of the programs offered in MCL. Anytime we're able to reach out to the community benefits the entire department.
