In the remaining 30 hours required for the BA/BIS degree, students should take the following foundation and prerequisite courses:

Accounting 2101-2102 [Strong students may elect to take MBA 8121 instead of Acct 2101-2102; before Finance 3300]

  • Finance 3300
  • Management 3500
  • Marketing 3010
  • BUSA 3000

Between the sophomore and junior years, students should prepare for and take the GMAT and apply for admission to the MIB program. Some of the graduate courses will also be sued to complete the requirements for the B.A.

The 33-hour MIB program includes:

Core Courses (9 hours)

  • IB 8090
  • IB 8990
  • Econ 8860

Designated IB Electives (12 hours)

Four courses from approved list

Foreign Area Study (6 hours)

Two courses from approved list

International internship (6 hours)
