Zoning Changes
If required, the zoning changes include the following main steps:
- • Application and submission of required materials
- • Review of the proposed zoning change by the Neighborhood Planning Unit
- • Review by the Zoning Committee (a subset of seven members of the City Council)
- • Review by the Zoning Review Board (a nine-member committee appointed by the Mayor)
- • Vote by City Council to change the zoning ordinance
- • Mayor’s signature
